AS A COLLEGIATE ATHLETE, SHE PLAYED ON THE WOMEN´S BASKETBALL TEAM AND ALSO RAN CROSS COUNTRY AND COMPETED IN TRACK AND FIELD. SHE HOLDS NUMEROUS CERTIFICATIONS SUCH AS ACSM, RTS, AND COOPER INSTITUTE´S MFP. KATIE BRINGS FOUR YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE AND SIX YEARS OF TRAINING EXPERIENCE TO SWEAT. A MARATHON RUNNER AND TRIATHLETE, KATIE, ENJOYS WORKING WITH CLIENTS OF FITNESS LEVELS.
KEGAN CORKILL IS A GRADUATE OF OKLAHOMA UNIVERSITY WHERE HE EARNED A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE WITH A DOUBLE MAJOR IN EXERCISE SCIENCE AND RELIGION. WHILE AT OU, KEGAN WORKED AS A STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH FOR OU ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT. KEGAN HOLDS NUMEROUS CERTIFICATIONS INCLUDING MAT, NSCA, NASM, CIAR, AND RTS MASTERY. HE BRINGS ALMOST TEN YEARS OF PERSONAL TRAINING EXPERIENCE TO SWEAT AS WELL AS TWO YEARS OF FITNESS CENTER MANAGEMENT. HE IS ONE OF THE TOP MAT SPECIALISTS IN DALLAS-FORT WORTH AREA.
Lee Goggin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, the study of muscles, from Oklahoma Baptist University. He has 6 years of experience in the fitness industry, holds certifications from The Cooper Institute in personal training and in biomechanics, and also is certified in NASM. Strongly influenced by a family committed to a healthy lifestyle, Lee’s passion is making the lives of people better through fitness and nutrition. Members will appreciate Lee’s approachability and talent for making them feel comfortable and confident in the workout environment.
Leigh Prewitt Harkrider studied Biology with an emphasis on Kinesiology at Tarleton State University. The love of working with athletes led her into a career managing pre-op and post-op rehabilitation of sports injuries, leading her to further her education into certified personal training. Leigh holds several certifications: CIAR-PFS, CIAR-BioRT, CIAR-Indoor Cycling, NASM-OPT, Power Pilates-Mat Instructor, Power Pilates-Comprehensive Apparatus Instructor. Her latest inspiration in fitness is Power Pilates, which teaches total body stability, strength and stamina.
Jessica Renberg is a NASM certified personal trainer and graduate of Texas A&M University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in Motor Behavior, as well as a minor in Psychology. While in college she played competitive club volleyball and worked at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a personal trainer for clients afflicted with the disease. Jessica has coached volleyball, basketball and track at the high school level and currently coaches a club volleyball team in Plano.
Tyler Herrin graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. While at Baylor, he was a graduate assistant in the Human Performance and Exercise Physiology Laboratory and played on the club ice hockey team. Tyler joins SWEAT with 8 years of training experience and 2 years of massage therapy experience. He has certifications from NSCA, ART, and CIAR. Tyler customizes training programs to help clients become pain free and stay that way in their daily activities.
Mike Reil has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a Master’s degree Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He holds a personal training and an indoor cycling certification from the Cooper Institute and is Ortho-Kinetics educated. Mike helps individuals create a long term fitness plan to achieve a life transformed by health and wellness. Mike has over 10 years of personal training and program development and is passionate for living a fit life and helping others to do so.
